Sunshine, lollipops and rainbows!

I can’t decide whether or not I love daylight savings time…
On the plus side, it’s 7:30PM and it’s still light outside and if I wasn’t feeling so incredibly lazy – I’d go for a walk! It leaves me feeling like I can actually have a life after work!
On the downside…waking up at 7:05AM when it’s still dark outside is KILLER. I pretty much just stay in bed until 7:30 because it’s just WAY too dark to get up.
Luckily, I can get used to waking up to darkness – so I think I’ll take my extra sunshine at night :)

I haven’t had much time for a life lately.
Work is killer.
School is killer (almost final exam time!).
My pet project is killer (soooo close to launch).

My new job is sucking out every ounce of energy I have (which is a lot considering how much coffee I drink) – so I get home and wish I could just sleep. Too bad that’s not possible!
The good thing about my job is it gives me incredible inspiration to start drawing and learning some new stuff! Everyone is so incredibly talented and I can’t wait to find some time to get creative again!

Alright – I’m off to do something that involves a couch and a TV!
More later…

Hello Life!

September 8, 2009 at 9:43 pm

I just got back from a wonderful weekend away at Killbear. Unfortunately it was my last camping trip for the summer but we did manage to get up there 5 times! My car will never be the same, I’m going to have to clean it about 50 times before it’s free of all the sand and dirt!

New job started last week. I’m working as an admin at an entertainment lawyers office. It’s really nice to not have to worry about work once I leave the office.

School starts this week! I’m dreading the trip to the bookstore as I’m sure it will be insanely packed. Which of course means I’m putting it off until the last minute :)

All of my amazing craft things start next week!
First I’m taking the Autumn online class over at Red Velvet Art. It’s my first time taking one of their classes but I absolutely love everything they create and I can’t wait to make some fun things but mostly to be inspired to get more creative.
Next is my Cake Decorating class at the local Michaels. I’m excited for this one because it was 1/2 price for September. Which means I’m getting an awesome four weeks of cake decorating for a crazy low price!
I also just ordered some amazingly awesome stitching patterns over at Sublime Stitching. I can’t wait for them to get here so I can take a stab at embroidery (literally).

That’s all that’s happening over here…

I’ve been reading “No One Cares what You Had For Lunch – 100 Ideas for Your Blog” by Margaret Mason. I’ve definitely picked up a few blogging ideas so I’m hoping to get this site rolling again.

It’s amazing the things I accomplish now that I’m not stressed about my job. I wish I could say that I miss it, but there isn’t a single part of me that does!
